About XO Gift Co.
XO Gift Co was founded by fun-loving mother of two, Kat Furr in 2013. The inspiration for XO Gift Co came from the all of good things that Kat and her family love about life!
Kat and her family love living in Denver, and they spend their free time at concerts, festivals, local events, camping, riding bikes, hiking the mountains, walking their dog, eating, drinking, BBQing with great friends, picnics in the park and traveling as much as possible. (Which isn’t too often since owning a business and 2 kids! :P)
Kat knows that others share her zest for life and she has filled XO Gift Co with exceptional creations for a unique gift-giving experience!
Kat has always valued carrying handmade items and appreciates the love and skill that goes into creating them. Knowing how important it is to support local and national artisans and makers, XO Gift Co focuses on carrying products that have been handmade in the USA. Currently over 95% of XO Gift Co products are just that, with more than half being locally made in Colorado. Kat currently carries the work of over 50 Colorado vendors in her store. She hopes you find something special for yourself or someone you love at XO Gift Co.
The XO Gift Co. Journey
If you're new here, welcome! Did you know that we were on Tennyson Street in Denver for 9 1/2 years before coming to Wheat Ridge? We celebrated 10 years in October of 2023! Check out our store fronts over the years (yes, this is our 4th one LOL) You might recognize that our old sign is now behind the counter in our shop and I'm SO glad there was space for it! Four different artists had a hand in creating it and it's certainly special to me! 💜
In October of 2015, we changed the shop name from Spices of Life Gift Company to XO Gift Co. This is the card I received from a dear friend who we lost in January of 2015. It was her kind words and lovely card that inspired the name XO Gift Co. She sent it to me for our grand opening in Oct of 2013 and after going around in circles trying to find the perfect name, I remembered her card. As I picked it up, I knew that was it. Thank you, Christine! XOXO!
